Spend three days with Oregon’s top conservation professionals as they address today’s natural resource challenges and look ahead to future issues. You will go home with new strategies and techniques to implement conservation, increase public education, lead your staff, and build partnerships. Registration will open in December for the best conference to CONNECT with conservation professionals.

Call for Abstracts
Do you have an idea for a presentation or keynote you would like to see at CONNECT 2019? Submit an abstract for a presentation you would like to present or share an idea for a session or speaker you would like to see at CONNECT 2019 with this survey link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6C9SCLY. Abstracts must be submitted by 5 PM Wednesday, October 31, 2018 for full consideration.
Volunteer Positions Available:
These positions range from an hour or two at the conference, a few hours total during the planning process, and up to a few hours monthly including attending the monthly meeting. We can accommodate any amount of availability…just ask!
The following are a few areas where volunteers are needed:
Track Team Members
Lead: Responsible for leading the team to fill the sessions in their assigned track. Reports to the CONNECT Planning team and Lisa.
Volunteers: Recruit speakers and obtain all necessary information needed. Reports to track lead.
Local Committee/Field Trips
Lead: Responsible for coordinating local field trips. Assist with any other local needs or information requested. Reports to Lisa and CONNECT Planning Team on behalf of committee.
Volunteers: Assist the Lead.
Registration Desk/Door Prizes
Lead: Helps recruit volunteers for registration desk. Assists in door prize coordination. Reports to Lisa.
Volunteers: Sign up to work shift(s) during the CONNECT conference.
Sponsor Committee
Lead: Work with Lisa to develop a marketing plan for recruiting sponsors. Lead team to recruit sponsors. Reports to Lisa.
Volunteers: Contact and recruit vendors and sponsors.
Entertainment/Keynote
Lead: Work with Lisa to establish keynote speakers and potential entertainment or connecting opportunities. Reports to Lisa.
Volunteers: Help lead to find Keynote speaker and ideas for entertainment/activities.
Silent Auction
Lead: Work with Lisa to coordinate advertisements for silent auction. Coordinate collecting door prizes and setting up area at conference. Reports to Lisa.
Volunteers: Assist where needed in collecting and setting up silent auction.
